Our bags are made using a combination of traditional Mozambican fabric (capulana) and recycled materials. Capulana’s date back to the 15th Century and form an integral part of traditional Mozambican daily life. The brightly coloured piece of cloth is used as a skirt, a dress, a towel, a baby carrier and almost anything else that a piece of cloth can be used for.​

Our bags are sewn by hand so sizes can vary a little from those specified below.
It is also important to note that imperfections on the fabrics do happen from time to time - all of which we think adds to our bags' unique handcrafted qualities!

Beach Bag / Shopper
These iconic bags are what makes coral tree so unique. The outer bag is made from the brightly patterned capulana fabric and the inner is made from a recycled rice bag. These rice bags are exceptionally durable and give the bags a great shape as well as enabling the carrying of wet or dry items. The bag can be used as a larger shopping bag and is perfect as a beach bag for the whole family.

This best seller is simple but stylish. It is nice and deep to stash all those important things and hangs comfortably on ones shoulder with durable grey straps.
The outer is made from the capulana fabric and the inside is a durable grey fabric with an essential inside pocket for your cellphone, etc.
